Shasta County Mental Health (SCMH) in collaboration with Northern Valley Catholic Social Service (NVCSS), provides housing opportunities for individuals with mental illness. Through the Lifted Off the Streets (LOTS) Program, Mental Health provides services to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with severe and persistent mental illness. Persons with a secondary diagnosis of substance abuse may also be served.
NVCSS provides housing opportunities for individuals who are not enrolled at SCMH, who also are homeless or at risk of homelessness. SCMH and NVCSS combine efforts to reach out to homeless individuals in our community who may be eligible for the Lifted Off the Streets program and the Intensive Lifted Off the Streets (ILOTS) program.
